Kelly

Master Hair Designer

Kelly is a highly experienced Master Hair Designer at Antony’s, with an outstanding career spanning over 26 years working alongside Antony when he was involved with the salon.  She is a cornerstone of the salon team, recognised for her exceptional technical ability, professionalism, and passion for delivering consistently excellent results.

Alongside her salon work, Kelly plays a vital role in Antony’s Night School, where she mentors Saturday assistants and developing stylists. Her guidance helps shape the next generation of talented hair designers, passing on both technical skill and the high standards that define the Antony’s brand.

Kelly also teaches hairdressing two days a week at Bury College, where she shares her deep industry knowledge and experience with aspiring professionals. Her commitment to education reflects her genuine passion for the craft and her dedication to raising standards across the industry.

Sarah is a highly experienced Senior Hair Designer at Antony’s, with a career that began at Antony’s Hair Academy in 2005. Having trained and developed within the salon, she has grown into a confident, versatile stylist with a loyal client base who value her consistency, care, and attention to detail.

Throughout her journey, Sarah has taken time out to welcome her three children, returning each time with the same passion and dedication to her craft. Her experience, both professionally and personally, shines through in her warm, approachable manner — ensuring every client feels relaxed, listened to, and genuinely cared for.

Known affectionately as Nic Lou at Antony’s, Nichola Louise is a highly experienced Senior Hair Designer who brings creativity, energy, and a wealth of expertise to the salon floor.

After successfully running her own salon for over 10 years, Nic Lou re-joined the Antony’s team in 2017 — returning to an environment she describes as supportive, dynamic, and truly like family. Her extensive experience as both a stylist and salon owner gives her a unique perspective, combining technical excellence with a deep understanding of client care and service.

Nic Lou is passionate about all aspects of hairdressing and thrives on creativity. She is constantly evolving her skills, staying up to date with the latest techniques, trends, and innovations to ensure her clients always receive modern, wearable, and beautifully executed results.

Senior Hair Designer

Carlo brings serious experience, unmistakable flair, and a touch of theatre to Antony’s — a Senior Hair Designer whose journey through the industry is as vibrant as his personality.

He began his career at Razors Edge before stepping into the fast-paced, high-energy world of Manchester city centre salons, where he received exceptional industry training and quickly found his creative rhythm. From there, Carlo took his talents to London, refining not only his cutting and colouring expertise but also elevating the art of the client experience.

It was in London that Carlo truly mastered the power of the perfect consultation — taking the time to understand, interpret, and deliver looks that are completely bespoke, beautifully executed, and effortlessly wearable.

Returning to the North West, Carlo continued his journey in Lytham opening his own successful salon. After an incredible 20-year run at the helm, building a loyal clientele and reputation for excellence, he chose to return to what he loves most — being on the salon floor, creating stunning hair and connecting with clients.

Now at Antony’s, Carlo combines decades of experience with a passion for transformation, detail, and making every guest feel like the best version of themselves. Expect expertise, personality, and a little bit of magic in every appointment.

Ellie specialises in creating bespoke styles that enhance each client’s natural features, whether it’s a soft, lived-in balayage, a bold colour transformation, or a perfectly structured cut. Jorge

Hair Designer

Originally from the historic town of Valladolid near Madrid, Jorge brings international flair and refined expertise to the world of hair design at Antony's.  Since beginning his hair design career in 2016 at the prestigious Daniel Hershesons Salon in London, Jorge has steadily built a reputation for excellence, creativity, and a meticulous eye for detail.

In 2020, his exceptional talent was recognised when he was awarded Blow Dry Stylist of the Year. His career highlights include assisting in the styling of global icon Dua Lipa for the YSL Libre campaign in Tenerife, as well as working with the iconic Courtney Cox. Jorge also contributed to the glamour of the 2022 BRIT Awards, styling the hair of nominees for this celebrated red-carpet event.

Now based in Ramsbottom after relocating for love and marrying his husband Shane, Jorge continues to pursue his passion for cutting, colouring, and finishing with precision and artistry. He is also known for his elegant wedding and occasion hair styling, helping clients look and feel their absolute best for life’s most special moments.

A lifelong learner, Jorge enjoys studying languages in his spare time and is constantly expanding his repertoire of advanced hair techniques to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Katie

Graduate Hair Professional

Katie is a talented and confident Graduate Hair Professional at Antony’s, now three years into her hairdressing journey and developing into a skilled, well-rounded development stylist.

She began her career with Antony’s after hearing outstanding feedback about the salon and its reputation for excellence in both training and client care. From day one, Katie immersed herself in the fast-paced salon environment, building strong foundations and quickly progressing through hands-on experience, education, and continuous development.

Katie’s passion for hairdressing started at a young age, evolving from experimenting with her own hair into a genuine love for the craft. Over the past two years, she has grown in both confidence and technical ability, working across cutting, colouring, and styling while supporting senior members of the team and building her own client experience.

Known for her positive attitude and willingness to learn, Katie thrives on improving her skills and staying up to date with new trends and techniques. She is developing a strong eye for detail and takes pride in helping clients feel confident, refreshed, and looked after.

Since joining, Ellie has grown in both confidence and capability, benefiting from hands-on, real salon experience from day one. Hi, I’m Olivia! I attended Holy Family School, and I’m thrilled to have started my hairdressing apprenticeship here at Antony’s Salon & Academy. I chose Antony’s because it has the best reputation in Bury for training and developing young hair professionals – and I wanted to learn from the very best.

My dream is to become a talented Hair Designer so I can help people feel confident, beautiful, and truly good about themselves.

A little about me – I have a pet rabbit called Teddy, I’m a big fan of pasta, and when I’m relaxing, you’ll usually find me listening to my favourite R&B tracks. My biggest inspiration is my mum, who always tries her best and encourages me to do the same.

I’m really excited for this new journey, learning new skills, and meeting all of Antony’s wonderful clients. I can’t wait to be part of making your hair look and feel amazing!

Hi, I’m Karen, and I’m proud to be Bury born and bred. I live with my boyfriend, Mike, and our mischievous cat, Una. Outside of work, I’m a bit of a bookworm and a secret gamer girl – I love diving into video games whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy a good night out with friends and family, balancing work with plenty of fun!

My favourite meals are the ones Mike cooks – he’s definitely the home chef in our household, and his home-cooked dishes are always delicious.

What I love most about working at Antony’s is the fantastic atmosphere. It’s a fun, energetic environment where I truly feel like part of the team. Everyone is so welcoming, and I love the positive vibe we all share.
