The Teaching Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Hairdressing Teacher/Assessor to deliver and assess Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing Standards. You will play a vital role in supporting our learners to develop their technical skills, creativity, and professional standards in line with current industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging hairdressing sessions to Level 2 and Level 3 learners.
• Assess learner competence in accordance with awarding body and apprenticeship standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner progress.
• Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
• Ensure all delivery meets Ofsted, awarding body, and internal quality assurance requirements.
• Promote high levels of professional behaviour, health & safety, and salon standards.

About You

Essential Needs:

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Hairdressing (or equivalent).
• Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
• Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent).
• Up-to-date industry knowledge and experience in salon environments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

• IQA qualification.
• Experience delivering apprenticeships or work-based learning.
• Creative flair and passion for the hairdressing industry.
