Balayage Hair Colour
Discover the magic of balayage hair colour at Antony’s Hairdressing Salon in the heart of Bury town centre. This on trend colouring technique continues to dominate due to the beautiful, bespoke results it creates and because it is a low-maintenance hair colour that will blend in with your natural roots as the colour grows out.
Our skilled colour technicians can create just about any look including sun kissed balayage, face-framing highlights, money piece, colour melts and ombré.
Please note: You must pop into the salon for a quick and simple skin sensitivity test at least 48 hours before your hair colour appointment.
The Money Piece
The 'money piece' is another name for face framing highlights - specifically, the strands either side of your face.
Money piece colours work well along side balayage and are often lighter in colour to create a bright frame around the face which contrasts with the rest of your hair. Opt for cool blonde colours, caramel tones or a daring contrasting fashion colour of pink or purple.
Root Shadowing, Root Stretching & Colour Melts
If you are looking for a low maintenance hair colour than why not try root stretching or colour melting. Root stretching and colour melts are techniques used to gently blend your natural root colour with a lighter colour towards the ends. We can ‘stretch’ or ‘smudge’ your root colour and add multi-dimensional shades, growing lighter towards the tips of your hair for an on-trend hair colour look.
Babylights & Lowlights
Applying foil highlights and lowlights is a way of adding multiple tones and shades to your hair colour, as well as creating more depth. Combining different hair colours is also a fantastic way of creating your own unique look and delivering stunning results in the process.
Ombré
Ombré hair colour is similar to root stretching or colour melting where the root colour is deliberately left darker before gradually fading to a lighter colour towards the ends.
The look works well with lighter, often ashy blonde shades towards the tips of the hair although caramel and toffee blonde shades remain a top trend. If you are feeling adventurous opt for a fashion coloured ombré such as silver-grey, purple, or lavender.
The ombré hair colour requires very little upkeep, making it an easy, low maintenance hair colour.
